More baby shower gifts

Here is the other bib I made for my friend as well as a onesie dress. I made the dress using this tutorial . This is the second one I’ve made and they come together really fast- about an hour. Next, I want to make something for Allison for the fourth of July. We are going to GV for the parade and fireworks since Daddy is working. It should be an interesting car trip with just me and the two kids for the first time.

Bitty Ballerinas

Allison had her first ballet recital last weekend. It was so stinkin’ cute! She did really good and had a great time. She was in two dances; one tap, one ballet. It was fun to do her hair and make-up, then help her with her costumes. It brought back memories of my first dance experiences and how much I loved it and still do. I hope that dance will be her thing, too, but whatever she wants to do, I’ll support. The hubby already has dibs on putting her in softball (she has a good arm, especially with rocks!).

True love and banana bread

Ok, so these two things don’t really have anything to do with each other; I don’t have a picture of the banana bread (recipe) but I do have a picture of my baby making googly eyes at me. I love this age, when they light up whenever you come into view or stop nursing just to flash a huge smile. Ian’s such a smiley baby. And the double chocolate banana bread was delicious. Just make sure the loaf pan is a bigger one. I originally had it in a smaller one, then decided to put it in a bigger one so it wouldn’t overflow.
